South Bend Information

Population of 1,609 and a footprint of just over two square miles, South Bend is a rural community. If you haven’t yet discovered it, it is located on the Willapa River in the center of timber country and home to major seafood processors of shrimp, oysters, clams and tuna. The city was incorporated in September of 1890. The city is conveniently located just off of Highway 101 in Washington, and welcomes visitors passing by.
